We are always excited about our new video releases but this one was especially exciting for us. We just love ZBrush, the tool absolutely rocks and we are always looking for ways to improve our skills with it. This video from Wayne has been a long time coming. Wayne and KURV studios have been working with Pixologic for some time to create this video and release it for ZBrush 3.1. This DVD takes you ‘from the ground up’ covering every feature of ZBrush 3.1. It doesn’t assume any knowledge and provides insights into how and why everything works. This isn’t a ‘project disk’ as Volume 2 is (coming in early October), but rather a workflow DVD. That is to say the whole point of this disk is to get the viewer as comfortable as they can be with ZBrush in a very short time. We have setup this DVD so that you can pick and choose the areas you want to learn. maybe you are already familiar with ZSpheres, but want comprehensive information on Retopologising your model in ZBrush 3.1, simply open that chapter. But don't dismiss the ZSpheres chapter as we learned a few time saving nuggets in that area ourselves. This video is more than 5 hours of training. 02/07/2008 The ordering system itself is clear and easily navigable, and the products are worth every cent, the Wayne Robson videos I found to be excellent (I find ZBrush doesn't exactly have an intuitive interface) and he has many useful and time saving insights, tips and tricks that would have taken an age for me to work out. Mike Pauza's cloth and dynamics video is also excellent - both he and Wayne should be congratulated on their efforts. I must also congratulate you on your customer service - the original download link for the Pyro FX video was broken, but after I sent a quick email the problem was swiftly resolved. I am completely satisfied with the "Kurv experience", and will no doubt be ordering from you again. I can't think of any way to improve it ("if it ain't broke, don't fix it!"). Cheers Paul
10/03/2008 Gets you up to speed on ZBrush fast. The price can't be beat for the Quality of this video.
05/25/2009 Wayne Robson is a great tutor. Almost every feature of ZBrush is covered in this tutorial. It makes the transition a lot easier if you are used to traditional 3d modelling applications. However, you probably do not absolutely need a video tutorial to learn the interface of ZBrush. If you've taken the time to toy around a little bit with ZBrush there are gonna be lots of things in this you will have discovered by yourself already.
