Hello at the forum. I am experiencing a problem with the LW hub,I have been running LW 9 for 6 months without problems. about 3 weeks ago I began to have problems opening up the modeler program. It would stall at the opening aand the computer would temporarily lock-up. when I did manage to get it closed I got an error message "I have chosen to close an unresponsive program" the actual error was 000o.hungapp.modeler.exe. After removing and reloading the program many times with no luck solving this. I called Newtek. They told me:confused: they have had many people with the same problem. We tested my dongle and they said it was OK. They said the problem was with the tranfer of all the data through the hub. TCP/IP protocol was the issue. They couldnt tell me why it started now and they told me upgrading to a faster computer or different processor wouldnt solve it. They were very nice but did not have many answers except to disable the hub for modeler and layout which is what I did. I did this by enetering properties for the programs and on the target line I entered a space and -0 after .exe" .This disabled the hub and the programs open and work fine. Of course I can use LW without the hub but it was nice to be able to update info automatically in layout from modeler and so forth. They told me they are working on a 9.2 revision and have a beta for this. Has anyone else had to do this and have you found another way to get the hub to work with this TCP/IP issue. I guess I can wait for 9.2 but this problem was nort something I was expecting with LW9 Thanks for your ideas Steve

Personally, I've had the hub disabled since LW6! lol!

Have you installed anything new lately? Any kind of network-related software? Also check your system for Malware, trojans, etc, etc that may be interfering with network traffic, etc.

Check your system is stable (Hard drive has become full, overfragmented), and that the LWHub folder hasn't like eaten up your Hard drive space. May pay to also check that this location hasn't accidentally had its permissions altered (like some software may have set it to read only, or some other crazy problem)

I cant recall the folder location, but a search of the HDD should find it...

The other thing to watch out for is iTunes (The 'Best windows app' according to apple). This can interfere with the Hub as well.
