Hi I have tryed and I gess I am just not grasping what spring and Hold dose.

I have a cloth that is reacting but it over reacts to much. I use hold and raze the number but it acts more like puddy and when I ajust the spring by razing the number say 1000 it jumps all over the place.

I am trying to have the cloth come back to its form it changed to after the rest point. But I done seem to get anything but all over the place. or I get this blob of ooze. Looks cool and all but I need it to snap right back not ooze back. Say in should be like a few say 10-15 frames.

I do have a side question that is on the same topic.
there is the MD Controller and there is teh Dynamics ClothFX

Are these the same at all or are there things that are not the same about them. I ask this because a few things. When I did a Dynamic setup in MD Controller and then use the same setup in the Dynamics CLothFX the setup did not like it. What I did is have a cloth and have a ball go through it but when I tryed to use HardFX to be the Collision object it did not like the keys I made for the ball. So the ball just stayed in place. Then I used the other FX Collision and it still did not like it. But when I used The MD Controller I could set key frames for the ball and the cloth reacted when ClothFX did not.

Any explanation for this strange problem. Has any one seen this with the CLothFX with Hard objects and path. It has become a bother that I set a path and then I can't use that setup.
