Ik Head Controle

Hmm. I have done this with the eye but I am lost right now on how to do this but I will keep going. anyway,
Any one use a null to controle the head. I tryed the null setup but its not working.

Let me put this another way. I want to have his head looking at the camera at all times I was trying to use a null out ware the camera was at but doing so created strange problems that after time became harder to fix. Should I just key it as I normaly do or is there a way to say ha head look at the camera and say cheese.
