This should probably go into the Work in Progress or Finished work sections, but for those that are interested in this series, I thought it appropriate to post it here.
The basic scene was from a Simplylightwave tutorial I had completed a long time ago. I spiced up the tree a little more, but still have some work to do on the fence and the terrain texturing wise. I just thought I would use this simple scene to put into application what I had learned watching your series.
This scene is lighted with 3 area lights, one providing the sunlighting, and the other two providing fill. I used two spotlights (Saslight only recognizes spotlights) to provide shadows, and the second to provide changes in color of the grass since saslight is limited in that area. Ambient light is on but set low to provide lighting to the groundplane and provide just a touch of additional ambient fill.
