I'm not sure which video I was working from because I don't have them in front of me, but I have a question about Larry Schultz's basic character modeling tutorials. The tutorials do not model a face on this character, and I wanted to know the best method for doing this.
The character ends up with two polygons on the face, split horizontally. I can make cuts horizontally all day long, but I need vertical cuts to model the face. How can this be done without effecting the rest of the model.
thanks,
grahamfro

Do you have the tips n tricks DVD? One of them does have some quicktime videos showing how to model a head. Usually I model the heads separately and there ways to change the polygon flow so that certain details are kept in certain areas. The other Tips n tricks DVD does show how to model a face.
The Tips and tricks DVDs arent meant as full blown tutorials for character but as a general overview. If you want some really detailed instruction with unlimited support I would recommend my character modeling module from my Professional Character Series Course.
